  • "I took part in a mixed media art workshop that Abigail facilitated. Abigail made me feel so comfortable and free to express myself creatively and intuitively from the first moment of the session. Initially, she encouraged us to generate ideas through some guided writing prompts and then we were free to get going on our creations. Her prompts enabled me to tap into some deeper emotions and memories which I channelled as I started creating my own piece of art. Abigail continued to support us throughout the session but in a non-intrusive way, so that each participant felt free to develop their own work. She also provided some wonderful art supplies and it was such a delight to experiment with different paints and art pens. I felt so happy with the mixed-media collage / painting I created and I can't wait to do another session with Abigail."

  • "I took part in Abigail's workshop as a part of a themed event on playing our part in community. She showed us the possibilities of using our own art as backgrounds for SoulCollage®️ cards. What I liked best about this workshop was the sense of abundant possibilities and the opportunity to play with different materials. I created a triptych of new SoulCollage®️ cards to add to my desk. Abigail also facilitated us in reading our new cards which was a great development and allowed us to share their wisdom in community too which fitted the theme very well. Thanks for a rich experience Abigail!"

  • "Abigail offered a large selection of materials and explained their properties well.I enjoyed the loose frame of the session, in which she encouraged us to experiment with paints, crayons and collage pictures. It was exciting to explore SoulCollage®️ from a different angle, which greatly inspired me. I loved the combination of creating a background of colour and then adding a collage. The session was rounded off with reading the cards, in a traditional SoulCollage®️ fashion."

  • “Abigail started our workshop with a relaxing visualisation that set the scene for the creative work we were doing. I really enjoyed the measured pace of things and for me the artistic spark came alive again with the gentle encouragement that she gave as we were painting. I had a wonderful, replenishing time!”

In FREE TO BE we set out on a journey to discover what "free to be" means for ourselves. Together we'll create from a place of intuition whilst using super fun mixed-media techniques and an altered-book art journal.

In FREE TO BE we'll work with acrylic paint, collage material from magazines and vintage photos, and the added option (bonus option I‘d say!) of Posca paint pens too.

If you have never done any intuitive mixed-media art making before -- have no fear! FREE TO BE contains demos, videos and tips to guide you along the way and show you how I like to create using the same supplies in my altered-book art journal. I have purposefully kept the supply list to a minimum, so you can essentially dive straight into the experience!

FREE TO BE is self-paced, and you will have lifetime access to all the workshop material and videos.

I believe there is no wrong way to create. In FREE TO BE the inner critic will take a back seat as you let go, play, and discover what "free to be" truly means to you. I have learnt so much about myself through the process of mixed-media art journaling over the years, and I am so excited to share my love of it with you too.

Just watch and see the magic happen as you apply colour and collage to paper! It’s as simple as that.
